Chapman Defeats UC Davis in Tennis

Troy Turnbull and John Kline defeated Benjie Aguirre and Cort Schultz in the last doubles match Friday to lift Chapman College over UC Davis, 5-4, in nonconference men’s tennis at Chapman.
Chapman, 17-8 and ranked No. 1 in the country in Division II, won four of the six singles matches, but Davis, 11-3 and ranked No. 5 in Division II, won the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles matches to tie the score, 4-4. Turnbull and Kline came from behind to win, 1-6, 7-5, 6-2.
