A medical helicopter with a pilot and two passengers aboard slammed into a wire fence at Hawthorne Airport while taxiing for takeoff. There were no injuries in the accident, which bent the rotors of the aircraft and put it out of service. The helicopter is used as an air ambulance for Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance.
