Public’s Help Sought in Identifying Man’s Body
Public assistance was sought Sunday by sheriff’s deputies in identifying the body of a man found over the weekend in a Malibu Canyon creek bed.
The badly decomposed body, clad in tennis shoes and shorts, was spotted by a Malibu resident while walking his dog off Latigo Canyon Road, a mile north of Pacific Coast Highway, officials said.
Detectives had few clues about the man’s identity, except for a silver-colored metal link bracelet found near the body.
