Nunn Improves to 15-0 With Third-Round KO
Middleweight Michael Nunn improved his record to 15-0 Monday night at the Reseda Country Club with a third-round knockout of Mexico’s Felipe Vaca (37-10, 22 knockouts. Nunn scored his 11th knockout by stopping Vaca at 1:56 into the round with a flurry of punches.
“I do not just want to beat opponents,” said Nunn, who has been accused of lacking punching power, “I want to hurt them.” Nunn, from North Hollywood, weighed 160; Vaca 162.
