The jail sentence of actor Jan-Michael Vincent for a drunk-driving probation violation has been delayed to provide the celebrity a chance to show that he is mending his ways through an alcohol rehabilitation program. Vincent’s attorney, Ronald Carpol, told Malibu Municipal Court Commissioner Richard Brand that the actor has enrolled on his own volition in a alcohol rehabilitation program. A hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, and Carpol said he hopes to convince Brand to allow Vincent to remain in the program in lieu of serving a 30-day term.
