Bo Jackson Hits 4th Homer
Bo Jackson hit a two-run homer in the four-run seventh inning, but his team, the Memphis Chicks, lost to the Chattanooga Lookouts, 7-6, in a Southern League game Sunday.
Jackson’s homer, his fourth, pulled the Chicks, who had trailed 6-0 after two innings, to within 6-5.
Jackson, the Heisman Trophy winner who chose baseball over football, is now hitting .237 in 26 games and 93 at-bats. He was 1 for 4 Sunday.
Jackson, who has been with the Chicks, the Kansas City Royals’ Double-A farm club since signing, was hitting .065 at one time.
