Bittick of Esperanza Signs to Attend BYU
Jason Bittick of Esperanza High School, The Times’ 1986 Golfer of the Year, has signed a letter of intent to attend Brigham Young University in the fall. Earlier this year, Bittick became the youngest golfer ever to qualify for the Shearson Lehman Brothers Andy Williams San Diego Open. In June, he led the Aztecs to the CIF-Southern California Golf Assn. title.
