A man was found dead of multiple gunshot and knife wounds Tuesday after county sheriff’s deputies were notified of an injured person lying inside a house, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman said.

The man, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of relatives, was found at a house on Dobyns Street, the spokesman said. The man’s roommate reportedly called deputies to report that he returned home for lunch and found his roommate lying in a hallway.

There are no suspects and no known motive, the spokesman said.
