An Orange County Superior Court judge has given the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. approval to make a $37.5-million payment to uninsured depositors and other creditors of Heritage Bank, the Anaheim institution closed by regulators two years ago.
Judge Tully H. Seymour also ordered the FDIC, which had collected the money as the bank’s receiver and liquidator, to provide an accounting of its administrative costs in the receivership within 45 days.
