The girlfriend of actor and former pro football great Jim Brown told police she does not want to press charges against Brown for allegedly hitting her at his Hollywood Hills home Friday, authorities said. Los Angeles Police Detective Jack Luther said Debra Clark, 21, signed a form at the Hollywood Division station stating that she did not want to have Brown, a National Football League Hall of Famer, prosecuted. Luther said Clark did not explain her decision. He added that the district attorney’s office could still decide to charge Brown, even without Clark’s cooperation.
