In the Streets of St. Louis, ‘Bus Starts’ Get Stopped

ST. LOUIS —
The St. Louis-area transit authority has given up on a public-relations effort to rename its bus stops with the more optimistic designation of “bus starts.” The Bi-State Development Agency says it will replace nearly 2,000 “bus start” signs installed 18 months ago because people were confused by the new phrase.
