Minor Quake Hits Illinois

BELLEVILLE, Ill. —
An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale occurred Tuesday near the Mississippi River southeast of St. Louis, causing no damage or injuries, U.S. Geological Survey scientists reported.
