4.0 Temblor Jars Palm Springs
Another aftershock of the July 8 earthquake rattled the Palm Springs area this morning, but there were no reports of injuries or serious damage, officials said. Today’s temblor, which occurred shortly after midnight, measured 4.0 on the Richter scale and followed a 3.3 temblor that hit Thursday. The original earthquake measured 5.9 and caused nearly $5 million in damage.
