Huge Idaho Fire Reported Nearly Under Control

CROUCH, Ida. —
Fire crew bosses said Saturday they were within hours of controlling the 18,550-acre Anderson fire that started during an Aug. 10 lightning storm. The blaze was declared contained last week after crews finished a 49-mile line around the fire.
