Quarterback Juan Moreno hit wide receiver Mike Russell for a 52-yard touchdown on Oxnard’s first possession. Moreno threw eight yards to Marc Chambers with 51 seconds left in the first half for a touchdown that increased the lead to 14-0. On the first play of the second half, Moreno again connected with Chambers for a 60-yard touchdown pass.

Juan Moreno (O) completed 13 of 20 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns. Two other Moreno passes, however, were intercepted. Marc Chambers (O) caught five passes for 89 yards. Mike Russell (O) caught two 65 yards. Kevin Ochs (C) rushed 12 times for 62 yards for an average of just over five yards per carry.
