Sockers Sign Namdar

SAN DIEGO — Socker midfielder Cha Cha Namdar signed a one-year contract, the team announced Wednesday. The amount was not disclosed.
Namdar, known for his penalty-killing prowess on the “No Goal Patrol,” scored 7 goals, had 11 assists and blocked 23 shots in 47 games last season.
