The Chicago White Sox reportedly do not plan to renew Ken Harrelson’s contract next year as vice president of operations for the American League club.
Harrelson, who signed a one-year contract last September, was to have met with team owners Jerry Reinsdorf and Eddie Einhorn this week, but sources said the decision not to retain the former player and broadcaster has already been made.
