CSUN Wins Soccer Title on Second-Half Surge

SANTA BARBARA — Cal State Northridge scored four second-half goals to defeat Grand Canyon College of Arizona, 4-0, to win the Warrior soccer tournament Saturday at Westmont College.
After being held to a scoreless tie in the first half, CSUN (5-2-1) scored four goals during a 20-minute stretch following intermission.
John Tronson scored the first goal at the 65-minute mark on an assist from freshman Steve McKenzie.
