A fire in a Camarillo guest house Wednesday caused $23,000 in damage to the structure and contents, but no injuries, the Ventura County Fire Department said.
The blaze erupted at about 12:35 p.m. in the 700 block of Alosta Drive, said Fire Department spokeswoman Lisa Hines.
