SDSU Final-Game Rally Beats Long Beach in Volleyball Match
Top-ranked San Diego State defeated Cal State Long Beach, 15-8, 15-5, 4-15, 15-11, in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. women’s volleyball match at Long Beach.
The Aztecs (6-1, 28-1) were led by outside hitter Kim Harsch, who had 10 kills and 3 aces. Sally Larsen added nine kills and two aces. Long Beach led, 7-2, in the fourth game before SDSU rallied for the victory. Long Beach is 1-5 in conference, 8-12 overall.
