They’ll Go Nutty Over Aunt Carol’s Banana Wanana Bread

AUNTIE CAROL’S BANANA WANANA NUTTY WUDDY BREAD
1 3/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup mashed bananas (2 medium ripe bananas)
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup milk
1 cup chopped nuts
1 (6-ounce) package butterscotch pieces
Auntie Carol’s Yummy Wummy Frosting
Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Combine mashed bananas, sugar, eggs and melted butter. Blend well. Alternately blend in flour mixture with milk.
Stir in nuts and butterscotch pieces, reserving some for topping. Turn mixture into greased and floured loaf pans (2 large or 3 small). Sprinkle reserved nuts and butterscotch pieces on top. Bake at 350 degrees 40 minutes. Cool and drizzle frosting on top, if desired. Makes 2 or 3 loaves.

Yummy Wummy Frosting
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup (or to taste) powdered sugar
Cream butter and cream cheese until smooth. Beat in vanilla and powdered sugar to taste.
