College Roundup : Harvey’s Scores 6 Goals to Lead UCI Past Fullerton in Water Polo, 13-8

Julian Harvey scored six goals Thursday to lead UC Irvine to a 13-8 victory over Cal State Fullerton in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. water polo match in Independence Park at Fullerton.
Kevin Wood added three goals for the Anteaters.
Leonard Canchola and Mark Monroe scored three goals apiece for the Titans.
UCI (7-1 in conference, 13-10 overall) plays host to UC San Diego Saturday in Heritage Park at Irvine. Fullerton is 0-11 and 5-14.
In PCAA women’s volleyball:
Cal Poly SLO 3, Cal State Fullerton 0--Carol Tschasar had nine kills to lead the Mustangs to a 15-4, 15-10, 15-11 win at Titan Gym. Susan Herman had nine kills for Fullerton.
Cal Poly SLO is 10-7 and 20-15. Fullerton (0-15, 6-26) plays host to UC Santa Barbara Saturday night.
In nonconference women’s soccer:
Cal State Dominguez Hills 5, UC Irvine 0--Robyn Queen scored two goals to lead the Toros to the win at Dominguez Hills. It was the final game of the season for UCI, which finished 8-10-2.
