Unbeaten Lazers Face Tacoma at Forum Today

The Los Angeles Lazers, 3-0 in the Major Indoor Soccer League, will attempt to hold on to first place in the Western Division when they play the Tacoma Stars at 1:30 p.m. today at the Forum.

Tacoma (4-1) has won four consecutive games and is led by the league’s top scorer, Preki, who has 10 goals.

To deal with Tacoma’s high-scoring attack, which also includes Steve Zungul, last season’s league-leading scorer, the Lazers will count heavily on goalie David Brcic, their defensive star in the first three games.

Forward Willie Molano has been the Lazers’ offensive leader with six goals.
