Dodger second baseman Steve Sax underwent successful surgery to remove a bone spur from his right heel. Sax also had inflamed tissue in his right arch repaired during microscopic surgery performed by Dr. Donald Baxter in Memorial Southwest Hospital in Houston. He should be able to resume running within eight weeks.
