Cause of House Fire Under Investigation
NORCO —
Fire officials were investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a Corona Avenue home Sunday.
When firefighters arrived at the scene Sunday morning, the single-story, wood-frame house was fully engulfed in flames, Jo Smith, spokeswoman for the Norco Fire Department, said Monday.
Two people inside the house were able to escape uninjured, but the “entire residence except for the garage (was) destroyed by fire,” Smith reported. Officials estimated that the loss exceeded $103,000.
