Huntington Beach : Man With Handgun Robs Dry Cleaners
The Whitehorse Cleaners was robbed of $150 Saturday evening by a thin man carrying a handgun, police said.
The bandit entered the dry cleaners at 5:15 p.m., announced that he was robbing the place and demanded all the money from the cash register, said Police Sgt. Barry Case.
He said the robber, who never brandished the gun but carried it visibly in a pocket, fled on foot out the front door of the shop in the 18000 block of Beach Boulevard.
Case said the thief was in his late 20s, “six feet tall, very thin,” and was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
