San Diego Charger wide receiver Charlie Joiner, 39, announced his retirement after 18 seasons. Joiner, the American Football League’s last remaining player in the NFL, is the NFL record-holder in career receptions (750), yardage (12,146) and number of games played by a wide receiver (239).
