Claremont Loses in Basketball, 69-27

Claremont High School was defeated, 69-27, by Calvary Baptist of La Verne in an Express League boys’ basketball game Monday at Calvary Baptist.
Claremont of Garden Grove had only four players on the floor in the final minutes after its leading scorer, Tom Patraw (12 points), fouled out. Mark Sanger had fouled out in the third quarter, and teammate Dan Noawick was hospitalized with a dislocated finger.
