Utah Women Defeat Fullerton Gymnasts

Cal State Fullerton and Stanford University were defeated by top-ranked Utah in the Sizzler Invitational women’s gymnastics meet Friday at Fullerton.
Utah (183.85) outscored the Titans (180.90) and Stanford (176.75) with excellent performances by Kris Takahashi, who won the all-round competition with 37.45.
Tami Elliott led Fullerton with a second-place all-round score of 37.20. Callie Glanton was third for the Titans with 36.50.
