Lazers Play Kansas City at Forum Tonight
The Lazers, coming off a 6-5 overtime victory over the San Diego Sockers last Sunday, will try for two in a row when they play the Kansas City Comets tonight at 7:30 at the Forum.
In their previous meeting in Kansas City, the Comets handed the Lazers their worst defeat ever, 12-2. The Comets (18-17) have won a club-record six straight games.
The Lazers (8-25) have made several roster changes since that earlier beating, including the acquisition of forward Chris Chueden, who had the game-winner against the Sockers.
