About 50 people on Hancock Street in San Diego had to be evacuated for a short time when gasoline began leaking from the 250-gallon tank of a roofing company truck, fire officials said.
The leak was reported at about 10 a.m. by residents who were downwind from the truck, fire officials said.
Firefighters moved the truck to the parking lot of the nearby San Diego Sports Arena, where a worker for the Benton Roofing Company fixed the leak, officials said.
No one was injured, fire officials said.
