Kings Try to Turn It Around on Road

LANDOVER, Md. — The Kings, who have won only one of their last nine games, begin a 10-day, six-game trip here tonight against the Washington Capitals.
Another trip is not good news for the Kings, who are 26-35-8. The team has not done well away from home, having won only 7 of 33 games, and will play 7 of its remaining 11 regular-season games on the road.
The Capitals (30-31-9) are fighting for second place in the Patrick Division. Injuries to two centers have forced Washington to get by with three lines.
