All-San Diego Section Soccer : Ashworth Named Top 3-A Player

Poway High School’s John Ashworth was named the San Diego Section boys’ 3-A player of the year, and Kim Grzanka of Bonita Vista and Janal Urich of Valhalla shared the girls’ honor.

Eric Ople of La Jolla and Nick Diaz of Ramona were named co-players of the year in boys’ 2-A, and Mission Bay’s Lorena Aviles received the award for the 2-A girls.
