Southern California Beats UCSD, 4-3
Josh Johnson’s second-inning single drove in the winning run for Southern California College in its 4-3 victory Friday at UC San Diego.
SCC (11-21) scored four runs in the first two innings. Carlos Salazar hit a solo home run and Mike Frei doubled in a run in the second inning.
David Stanovich was 2 for 5 with a run batted in for UCSD (16-10). Robert Mansfield (3-6) beat UCSD’s Rick Nowak (6-2).
