Anaheim police said Thursday that they are searching for two men who kidnaped a woman and took her for a three-hour ride that ended when the men’s car crashed in a Fullerton neighborhood, allowing the woman to escape.

The unidentified 35-year-old woman told police that she was abducted near the corner of La Palma Avenue and Anaheim Boulevard about 11 p.m. Wednesday. Her kidnapers demanded money, according to Police Lt. Peter De Paola.

When the woman told the men she had no money, they forced her into their car and drove around for three hours before they collided with a car parked on a residential street in Fullerton, De Paola said.

The woman fled from the men and ran to a nearby house to call police. The owner of the house, whom police refuse to identify, was the owner of the parked car involved in the crash, De Paola said.
