Police Seize 4 Kilos of Cocaine in Van Nuys
Four kilograms of cocaine valued at $500,000 were seized from six suspects arrested Friday in Van Nuys, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The arrests took place after two officers in a police car saw a stolen pickup truck parked in the driveway of 6841 Cantaloupe Ave., Sgt. Alfonso Rodriguez said. The officers arrested two men in the pickup and recovered a kilogram of cocaine from it, the sergeant said.
A car then sped away from the home. Police stopped it and found another kilogram of cocaine inside, Rodriguez said.
After a search of the home, officers found two more kilograms of cocaine, he said.
The names of the suspects were not been released.
