A man told police in Charlotte, N.C., that he had been target shooting about a half-mile from a crowded theme park when a 16-year-old girl was shot to death and another wounded Sunday by what police say may have been stray bullets. Police said that the unidentified man, who was not arrested, was using a Russian-made AK-47 rifle, the type of weapon that killed Michelle Ann Sexton of Rock Hill, S.C., and wounded Ahesha Shanelle Rollins, 6, at the Carowinds amusement park. Rollins is in stable condition.
