A 7-pound, 7-ounce boy was delivered in the back of a pickup truck by two Army reserve nurses who were returning to duty at their base near County General Hospital when they heard the cries for help. Maj. Revonia J. Truby and Lt. Col. Lydia Candelaria, who serve one weekend a month at the 349th General Hospital, delivered the baby without complication.
