Gunshots wounded four members of a crowd gathered at a Pomona church to discuss alternatives to gang violence, police said today.

The victims--all of whom, including an 11-year-old boy, were shot in the back--were watching a movie put on by Pomona Victory Outreach in Harrison Park when the assailant approached Thursday night and began firing without warning, police said in a statement.

The most severely injured was Charles Wagner, 37, who underwent surgery at Queen of the Valley Hospital and was in serious condition in the hospital’s critical care unit this morning, hospital spokeswoman Sophia Lima said.
