Two players picked the six winning numbers to split last week’s $14,167,872 Lotto 6/49 jackpot, and six tickets had enough numbers to divide the second-place pool of $1,457,220, a California Lottery spokesman said Sunday.

The top tickets, each worth $7,083,936, were purchased at stores in the Plumas County community of Almanor and in the Kern County city of Ridgecrest, said state lottery spokesman John Schade.

The six numbers picked Saturday night were 12, 28, 29, 10, 8, 26, and the bonus number was 22.

The six tickets that had five numbers and the bonus are worth $242,870 each. They were purchased in Napa, Middletown, San Francisco, Hemet, Port Hueneme and Escondido.

There were 307 tickets with five correct numbers, and each is worth $2,445. In the category for four correct numbers there were 15,076 tickets, each worth $45. There were 276,983 tickets with three numbers, which wins $5.

Lotto sales for the week totaled a record $13,650,773. Next weekend’s jackpot was expected to total $4 million, Schade said.
