Bulldozers Used to Stop Army Base Fire in Alaska

FAIRBANKS, Alaska —
Firefighters bulldozed a break around a burning forest to contain the two-week-old blaze, which has blackened 10,960 acres of the Ft. Wainwright Army reservation, federal officials said Wednesday.
