Fullerton : Youth Knifed in Back in Attack by 3 Youths
A Fullerton teen-ager was stabbed in the back in an attack by three juveniles from his own neighborhood who yelled, “Come on, sucker!” as the victim walked up to his house late Thursday, police said.
Police have no motive for the attack by the three 16-year-old male youths on the 17-year-old victim, police spokeswoman Kitty Jaramillo said. The victim, of 604 West Porter Ave., suffered a deep cut on his shoulder during the 11:45 p.m. attack. He was treated and released from Martin Luther Hospital Medical Center Friday morning.
Police arrested one of the juveniles on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. He was being held at Orange County Juvenile Hall.
The arrested youth lived across the street from the victim, police said. The other juveniles were released to the custody of their parents.
