Two Players Will Split $4.4-Million Lotto Prize
Two players came up with the six Lotto 6/49 numbers and will split last week’s $4,438,193 “Lotto 6/49” jackpot while three others will each claim $405,106 in second-place money, the state lottery said Sunday.
The jackpot tickets, each worth $2,219,096, were purchased in Gardena and Escondido, said California Lottery spokesman John Schade. The names of winners will not be known until they turn in their tickets.
The pool for picking five of the numbers plus the bonus was $1,215,318. The three winning tickets were bought in Modesto, Scotts Valley and Lynwood.
