Wilson and Saints Agree to Contract
Quarterback Dave Wilson, a former star at Katella High School and Fullerton College, has agreed to a contract with the New Orleans Saints, a team official said Tuesday night.
“He’s on his way in,” said Jim Miller, the Saints’ vice president for administration. “In the morning, he’s expected to sign.”
Wilson, a six-year veteran who led the team to a 6-6 record in the games he started last season, is expected to sign a three-year deal.
Last season, Wilson threw 10 touchdown passes and 17 interceptions. He also was sacked 22 times.
