A Studio City man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and attempted rape after he allegedly pushed a woman from his moving car on the Santa Ana Freeway in the City of Commerce. Sheriff’s Deputy Van Mosley said Paul Keegan, 30, was stopped by a deputy who saw him exit the freeway at high speed with his car lights turned off. Mosley said a passing truck driver subsequently informed the deputy that he had seen Keegan push someone onto the freeway from his moving car. The deputy detained Keegan and returned to the freeway, where he found a crowd of people assisting a Canoga Park woman, who said she was pushed from the vehicle when she resisted Keegan’s advances. She was taken to a hospital for treatment for cuts, bruises and possible concussion.
