A forest fire in the San Bernardino Mountains north of Lake Arrowhead was fully controlled after burning 1,500 acres of brush and timberland. Water drops on the fire, which were called off Tuesday because of interference by low-flying military jet aircraft, were resumed Wednesday when no more jets appeared.
