The Region : Terrigno Pays $1,213 to West Hollywood

Share

An attorney for former West Hollywood Mayor Valerie Terrigno gave the city a check for $1,213.58, ending a controversy over her use of a car rental company’s credit card after leaving office, City Atty. Michael Jenkins said. He said documents showed that Terrigno tried to have the bills sent to her once she left office. Instead, the bills were sent to City Hall. “Terrigno has cooperated fully to reach this amicable resolution,” Jenkins said. Terrigno, who was elected when West Hollywood incorporated in 1984, resigned in 1986 after being convicted on an embezzlement charge involving a federally funded job counseling service.
