Center Benoit Benjamin of the Clippers will be out on a day-to-day basis due to a minor back injury sustained in drills at the team’s training camp at Cal Poly Pomona.

Benjamin pulled a muscle in his upper back while he was working on pivot moves with backup center Martin Nesley.

He was scheduled to be examined today by Dr. Tony Daly, the team physician.
