Fullerton Falls to Pacific in Women’s Volleyball
Cal State Fullerton lost to the two-time defending NCAA champion, the University of the Pacific, 15-7, 15-2, 7-15, 15-6, in a women’s volleyball match Saturday at Fullerton.
Senior blocker Mary Miller (10 kills) and freshman Cathey Scotland (12 kills) dominated the Titans at the net before Fullerton rallied in the third game.
Susan Herman, who finished with 14 kills, led the Fullerton rally.
Fullerton is 9-16 overall, 1-12 in the Pacific Coast Athletic Assn.; Pacific is 16-3, 7-2.
