Police believe they broke up a burglary ring that focused on new apartment complexes with the arrest Saturday night of four men and the recovery of 70 new washers, dryers and refrigerators.
Police Department spokesman Rick Carlson said a burglary investigation led detectives to the 500 block of Fergus Street in San Diego, where they arrested Philip Louis, 37, on suspicion of burglary, and Francisco Lewis Alvarez, 19; Henry Hall, 38, and Thomas Miller, 38, on suspicion of possession of stolen property.
